The class is extremely gentle and is accessible to those with physical limitations or structural concerns, or those who need to ease their way into a movement practice. The focus will be on subtle movements, improving brain function and eliciting the relaxation response, I will include breathwork and guided meditation.

This class makes yoga accessible to all. Those of you with disabilities, weight challenges, inflexibility, or who just cannot get on the floor for whatever reason can benefit from a daily practice of yoga on a chair in the comfort of your home or office.  The chair replaces the yoga mat and becomes an extension of your body allowing you to take full advantage of yoga’s amazing fitness and health potential.  You can receive the many benefits of chair yoga–the integration of body, mind, and spirit.

I am trained and certified by Lakshmi Voelker, founder of Chair Yoga in the 1980s. Her Chair Yoga program is used by the Mayo Clinic and the New York Dept. of Education.

This session is 60-minutes.
